Of Overnights and Towers

Had to design, built a model, and make some stupid A3 poster. Heheh.
Overnight at uni for two nights doing it, i can say its quite fun la. butthen felt realli tired after tht.

So Monday, went to the bank to settle the missing 1200 aus thingy. Felt very relieved tht the 1200 could be recovered :P. Was worried for a few days hehe. Then went with Tim to go buy cable for our model.

Then, spent more than 14 hours straight. Our design too complicated dy. lol.

So we had to calculate and cut so many separate pieces of wood. Calculate where to drill TWO holes in each stick. Must be chun summore. lol, kerja orang gile.

Its cool to see the model slowly growing. hehe

About halfway, took a break and went to McD and go walk walk, talk crap and sing The Kill. I think Thts our towers theme song cause the whole night keep repeating tht song. lol. But i prefer The Kill acoustic.  DAMN nice wei. :P



Tada!! i tot we almost done dy. This is at about 11pm. But then our plan to thread wires thru the holes in a 'X' pattern cannot be done, cause the wires were not flexible enough. So we make do with Cotton strings. But very very very hard. So me n Tim stay the night and thread the thing. Ariff had history presentation the next day so let him go home and rest. Threading one way take 40 minutes like tht. We need to do 16. BLEH.



U see the cross threads. Me n Tim do till 5. And our backs want to die dy. And since the model is kinda delicate without the cotton threading we hav to be very careful threading it. Blah :P. But looks damn nice la.



Next day ariff did the wire thingy which was really hard too, 3 hours. He sacrificed his fingers to press the Hot glue so it dry faster. Hebatnia Dikreef!! :P Me and Tim did the A3 poster. Took the wholeee nite again. bleh.



Finished product! See the leaves. look like pineapple horh. Haha. Lin ku pao tower. Btw, actually our original design got a metal dragon imbedded around the tower
but we no time to do it :P.

On one of the nights i forgot which one, i walked back and i saw this. Realli beautiful, most beautiful scenery ive seen in launceston i think. :P

So, though im realli tired and probably lost a few weeks of my life doing this tower, i am satisfied. I dont care if i dont get HD, im just happy with the tower. Hee. N we won a snickers bar for most popular. So, screw the marks. :P
